Annick Goutal Fragrance - perfect for Valentine’s Day

Hi all

I just found yet another Annick Goutal fragrance that has blown me away. It is called Passion and is the perfume that she designed for her own use.  This fragrance is a heady mix of Tuberose, Jasmine and Vanilla and just may be my new fragrance.

I was in the French Pavilian at Epcot, the only store in the United States that carries her entire line, and discovered this little treasure.  After sampling fragrance after fragrance and putting the sales staff through its paces, this one emerged the victor. I couldn’t wait to put it on and immediately had to fend off inquiries of,” What are you wearing and wear did you get it?”

Now I realize that not all of you can pop over to Epcot so I researched what other stores might carry it. Neimans, Bloomies and Nordstroms all carry part of her line and I found that Bloomingdales has it online. Call your local store to see if they have it in, as well. Go and see for yourself if it is right for you.

Choosing the right perfume is a very personal decision. The right perfume should fit your personality and personal tastes.  The Annick Goutal fragrance line is a bit high end but you will need to use so little of it each time, that I have found mine last about a year.

Remember to use it sparingly. Even if you get the spray bottle, unscrew the top and use the plastic applicator to apply just a drop behind your ears, and on your pulse points. If you are looking for a new fragrance to tempt him with this Valentines day try Passion by Annick Goutal yourself.

Master List of Beauty Fragrances

Beauty reviews of scents and fragrances abound on the web. This might sound a bit silly, since you can’t actually smell anything through your computer. (If your computer does emit a scent, look for socks below!) But what I do like about reviews of beauty fragrances is that the descriptions can send me off in the right direction. Beauty fragrances described as flowery, musty, or spicy can give you a good of the feel that scent will convey.

‘Cuz when you really get right down to it, you choose a scent to send a message. So today’s beauty reviews will focus on your message. (You get to decide who you’re sending it to.)

Flirty and very feminine. That’s how I would describe thePhilosophy Amazing Grace Concentrated Perfume Oil 0.27 oz. Soft, floral, fully female; this is the essence of being a girl.

Sultry and Womanly

Robert Piguet Fracas Eau de Parfum Roll-On 0.25 oz Eau de Parfum Roll-On is the epitome of the Parisienne femme fatal. This beauty fragrance was created by Robert Piquet, a master of fragrance in the inner circle of Paris. Here’s why I like it. Jasmine, sandalwood, orange and musk scents create a harmonious blend that could make me swoon. Or better yet, let others fall at my feet. Sephora products sells this on their web site.

Lively and Surprising

Hanae Mori Butterfly 1 oz Eau de Parfum Spray combines berry, vanilla, sandalwood and currants in this really unexpected fragrance. And yes- the unexpected is good. Delicate, but upbeat- this is a fun one.

Here’s the magic of choosing beauty fragrances. Your personal chemistry creates a unique scent when you use any of the beauty fragrances out there. Yes, I know: a man wearing Polo smells like a man wearing Polo. But most feminine beauty fragrances are a bit more subtle. You can really make them your own.

Sincerely,
